Nautica Acqua was born in a period of deep crisis for the entire nautical sector of assistance and yacht production. This project was born thanks to the enthusiasm of the technical manager, Raffaele Virdis, and to the experience he gained over thirty years at the helm of one of the most important companies in the sector, which is based in Olbia. Our company has served as an assistance provider for the Ferretti Group in Sardinia. Thanks to the synergy and involvement of an important local building and real estate contractor, the Gaias Group, in 2012 he decided to embark on the adventure called Nautica Acqua. The project consisted in creating a dynamic company, with lean management costs in order to concentrate energies for the benefit of the product quality, although in a limited way, for a significant number of customers: those demanding customers who had previously been mistreated and dissatisfied due to the downturn of the whole sector. Nautica Acqua logistically designed a structure that was meant not to further pollute the gulf from an already abundantly compromised building settlement. Thus, it created a structure sufficiently distant from the gulf yet not penalizing, which could guarantee all production activities in totally ecological processing areas designed to contain the harmful toxic emissions products preventing them from entering the environment. The relative distance from the sea front allows to keep all boats protected in wintertime, preserving them from the continuous aggressive exposure to sea breezes, which reach even inside closed sheds. So, all boats can be shielded from a humidity rate that exceeds 90% and the corrosive action of saltiness. From the very beginning, our initial efforts have been rewarded by the appreciation of our customers, who have stimulated all the staff to invest more and more following direction. Also, we have been constantly motivated by the requests for overhaul of purchased used boats, which generally require massive refitting or customisation according to the requests of the new ship owner.

All this has led our company to invest in important equipment that is an excellence in the shipbuilding sector - thus managing to become an exclusive valuable reference - such as the spray booth with a size of over 24 metres, which is suitable for the yachts on which the structure operates. It has a project analysis and development section, which carries out any type of customisation work required for any kind of boat. Our shipyard operational staff allows you to act independently for any work-related need. Our team of selected and well-trained technicians allow us to intervene and work to find the best solution to any problem, especially during the assistance period, so as to avoid ending up in the impossibility of using boats during summer.

The operational structure of Nautica Acqua applies its own guidelines in the context of research and analysis of the general conditions of each boat from the very first moment in which it is delivered. Thanks to routine maintenance, the development of a check list can continue, which is aimed to identify any hidden anomalies. Subsequently, in agreement with the owner, the data collected are transformed into proposals for work to be carried out, with the aim of making each boat more and more reliable and safe. The professionalism and scrupulousness with which the processes are analysed and proposed is entrusted to the manager, who keeps constantly in touch with the customer.Also, if requested, the manager would produce a photographic documentation to ensure the constant updating of every executive phase - before, during, and after. Moreover, the manager will always be available for any clarification or suggestion to avoid unnecessary costs. The reliability of our whole company and its staff also stands out for the harmony of an organised work group, where everyone puts themselves out there to reach a common goal.
