Refitting
The operational strength of our staff and our structure allows us to promote major overhauls of used and dated boats that require a complete restyling. With the support of our technical department we design structural changes that can improve the original features. On request, we develop technical drawings such as renderings to finalize the proposals and projects together with the customer before the executive phases. Some of our elaborations have been the creation of foldable beaches with up / down system for wing tender, construction of rigid carbon tops.
Fiberglass
The fiberglass department is responsible for remedying all the problems relating to the structure of a boat starting from small lesions or structural cracks up to the partial reconstruction of a hull in compliance with the original water lines, for example in case of damage caused by accidental impacts. . The department also allows us to make every type of shaped in-house starting from the mannequin and mold construction design up to the finished preform. We work with traditional lamination systems but if necessary in infusion or pre-impregnated autoclave.
Mechanical workshop
Any type of intervention required for refitting, even the most complex one, the company in the province of Sassari is able to perform it with punctuality and professionalism using the most innovative techniques:
- repair of all stainless steel components; sheet metal processing and welding; construction of fuel tanks; construction of exhaust pipes; construction of customized components; accessories made according to drawing; various deck components; raiser in aluminum or steel.
Carpentry
Nautica Acqua's carpentry department operates independently or avails itself of the support of external specialized professionals, to ensure the best product.
In fact, during the refitting of a boat it is possible to have to build teak decks on site or on design: for this reason, the company relies on a network of insured partners and on the use of only first choice materials.
Yacht painting
The refitting service for worn boats offered by Nautica Acqua also includes the complete painting of fiberglass, wood and aluminum yachts, which are placed in a special room for preparation so as to avoid processing dust and fumes on other boats in storage only. .
The painting is performed using any type of enamel based on the expected characteristics or the final degree of finish, and is carried out inside a painting booth. This, located at the headquarters in via Madagascar 33 in Olbia, allows to exclude the presence of micro inclusions of dirt in the enamel thanks to a specific ventilation system and a constant temperature.

MAIORA 20 S
The refitting and restyling operation of which the company is most proud of was recently concluded with emotion in the eyes of the owner.The entire project was born in front of a coffee from the desire of the owner to want to make changes to his Maiora 20S. The idea is grasped and supported by our technical director, Raffaele Virdis, who immediately plans the transformation project. This is followed by a series of renderings that digitally represent the boat from the customer's point of view. The design and execution were not immediate: over two years of study and extraordinary work worthy of a long wait. The intention to make the boat more modern, fresher and closer to the characteristics of current boats, was centered on the perfection:
- lifting and repositioning of the rollbar
- integration of a new rigid carbon t-top partially visible
- the modifications have allowed us to gain a sunbathing area of over 10sqm, with perimeter protection consisting of a steel and plexiglass well. We can only be proud of the work done and of the satisfactions obtained, above all for having been able to grasp the owner's proposals to perfection to give a new aesthetic to his boat.
